We’re Grangemouth Carers. We’re a charity providing care services in Grangemouth and Bo’ness.

We go the extra mile to help our clients, helping them stay independent at home. We’re trusted, regulated and community driven. We were launched in 1991 and operate as a social enterprise.

Our services

We offer:

  • personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
  • domestic care (housework, preparing meals)
  • shopping services
  • companionship and befriending
  • social care (personal and practical support to help people live their lives)
  • support for people to take medication
  • overnight care (for instance if someone is going on holiday and needs accompanied by a carer)

Grangemouth Carers Ltd is a registered charity with OSCR, the Scottish Charity Regulator. Our charity number is SC001790. Read our entry on the OSCR website.

We’re regulated by the Care Inspectorate. This is a public body set up to scrutinise organisations in the care sector and support improvement. The agency says: “We look at the quality of care in Scotland to ensure it meets high standards. Where we find that improvement is needed, we support services to make positive changes.”
